We are delighted to have been added to the New Hospital Programme – and we look forward to bringing a new Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) to King’s Lynn and West Norfolk which is nothing less than our patients, local communities and staff deserve.
A new hospital for King’s Lynn and West Norfolk will deliver a sea of change in health and care for our local communities in Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, and Lincolnshire.

The people we serve across King’s Lynn, West Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, and Lincolnshire need and deserve a new hospital. We are delighted we have received confirmation that this will become a reality.
Our current buildings have reached the end of their life. Steel and timber support props maximise the safety of the hospital, but they don’t extend its life beyond 2030.
We are working round the clock to deliver a new QEH for our patients, communities and staff.
