A new QEH is coming to King’s Lynn and West Norfolk in 2030

A new QEH will be opening in 2030. We look forward to bringing this state-of-the-art health care facility to King’s Lynn and West Norfolk – which is nothing less than our patients, local communities and staff deserve.

A new hospital for King’s Lynn and West Norfolk will deliver a sea of change in health and care for our local communities in Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, and Lincolnshire.

We have developed this website to share our proposals, thinking, and opportunities to get involved as the project progresses – take a look around to see the journey so far and plans for the future.

The people we serve across King’s Lynn, West Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, and Lincolnshire need and deserve a new hospital. We are delighted we have received confirmation that this will become a reality.

Timber failsafes support the ceiling in our operating theatres

Our current buildings have reached the end of their life. Steel and timber support props maximise the safety of the hospital, but they don’t extend its life beyond 2030.
